"Joan of Lorraine"

Ingrid Bergman, from her earliest childhood, had a great love for Joan of Arc. It was her life's ambition to 'play' Joan one day on stage. Ingrid first realized her dream when she starred in Maxwell Anderson's play JOAN OF LORRAINE. This play made its Broadway premiered at the Alvin Theatre on November 18, 1946.
